NY State “Downtown Revitalization Initiative” Funding for the “Greater Morris Park”

Gov. Kathy Hochul announced Thursday, Feb. 27, 2025 that Greater Morris Park will receive $20 million in funding as the New York City winner of the eighth round of the Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) and the third round of NY Forward.\

The MPBID submitted 10 out of 32 proposals included under the project compiled by the Bronx Borough President’s Office. We look forward to working with all NY State partner agencies and start public space and infrastructure improvements to the greater Morris Park community.
